Playing piano
When my thoughts get stuck, fifteen minutes at the piano often untangles them.

BIT still gives me plenty to learn, but I missed building something of my own. I founded The Corner Factory SA to stay close to new technology and build useful products with AI and agentic systems.
After years of being my own boss, I was curious to join a larger organization and be the new person again. BIT felt like a good fit because I liked its technical choices and support for open source.
When the time felt right, I sold my shares in the company, which now operates as by Attitude AG. I was proud of what we had built, but I missed spending more of my time creating products.
We built custom websites and hybrid apps. I led the front-end work, while my colleague looked after the PHP and MySQL back end.
The company was going through a difficult summer, so I joined a 36-hour hackathon to remind myself what I could do. Finishing first gave me the confidence I needed.
My first role in technology was mapping the first steps toward digitizing and automating production processes.
I moved to London to improve my English and found a job in a nightclub within a week. Even in a loud room, people notice when you really listen.
I studied IT fundamentals and business for two years. I was already working at Ultrastark, and eventually chose the company over the classroom.
Military life never felt natural to me, but I chose to finish my service.
I started my career in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, even though I could barely speak German at the time.
I was young. I learned plenty about life, but I'll keep those lessons off the internet.
Life away from the keyboard
When my thoughts get stuck, fifteen minutes at the piano often untangles them.
Running gives my mind time to sort through everything it has picked up during the week.
Living in the Swiss Alps gives me a good excuse to disappear into the mountains and away from screens.
